Vision - This is the idea held by our organisation and other stakeholders of what Hhelp Darling Downs Inc. will ultimately become. It is a highly inspirational concept that serves to guide the direction and growth of our organisation, and is a source of motivation for management and other staff. It is long-term in nature, conceptual in character, general in its wording, and inherently flexible to allow for changing circumstances and unforeseen opportunities or threats. Mission
- Our mission is our statement of purpose - our reason for being. It flows directly from the Strategic Vision. It is stated clearly and unambiguously however it is important that it is not prescriptive, if it were it would not allow an ability to exercise discretion in how to achieve objectives. Strategic
Commitment - Is the unswerving undertaking that Hhelp Darling Downs Inc. makes to its many stakeholders. As they are unswerving, they are well thought out and are few in number. Our Strategic Commitment influences everything that we do. Key
Result Areas - Are the broadly stated key achievement areas derived from our Strategic Commitments. These areas provide the central focus of our efforts, energy and resources. These will therefore be statements that provide a specific focus for activities throughout the planning period. Key
Performance Indicators - Are the benchmarks that are used to measure whether (and how well) goals or activities have been achieved. Key Performance Indicators are monitored progressively during program implementation to ensure that no gaps are emerging. If a gap does emerge, it is management's responsibility to decide what resources are required to achieve a required goal. Key Performance Indicators need to be measurable - and achievable.
